CTeSP applications open from 26 July to 22 August

The University of Algarve will open the online applications for the Higher Professional Technical Courses (CTeSP), with the first phase running from 26 July to 22 August and the second from 21 to 27 September. For the academic year 2021/2022, the Algarve Academy reinforces its training offer with the opening of three new CTeSP: Design and Multimedia Technologies, Digital Marketing and Computer Technologies.

UAlg offers 13 CTeSP in its areas of Arts, Communication and Heritage; Economy, Management and Tourism and Engineering and Technologies.

A CTeSP is a study cycle that grants a level 5 professional higher technician diploma of the National Qualifications Framework. It lasts two academic years, consisting of a set of curricular units organized in general and scientific training components, technical training and on-the-job training, which is materialized through an internship. The holder of this diploma may enter the licentiate degree courses at UAlg, through a special competition specifically designed for them, and acquire the respective academic degree.

They are intended for holders of a secondary education course or legally equivalent qualification (e.g. vocational or technological course); holders of a technological specialization diploma, a vocational technical higher diploma or a higher education degree and candidates who obtain approval through the Major 23 years old.
