My academic career has been in the areas of Human Resources Management, Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability. PhD in 2011 from the University of Évora in Management, specialising in Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility. Master's degree in Human Resources Development Policies from ISCTE in 2004. Currently a researcher at CinTurs - Research Centre for Tourism Sustainability and Well-being. Taught several courses in the areas of Human Resources Management, Organisational Behaviour, Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility and Strategic Management of Human Resources and Leadership, both in undergraduate, postgraduate and master's courses. Experience in supervising master's theses in the areas of Human Resources Management and Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility, and regularly take part in master's exam juries, either as chair, examiner or supervisor. Research interests focus on the themes of ethics, social responsibility and sustainability in organisations, human resource management, attitudes and behaviour at work, well-being at work and leadership, with a particular interest in the tourism and hospitality sector. Have been part of research teams on both funded and unfunded projects, working with international and multidisciplinary teams. Publications reflect these interests, covering management, human resources management, social responsibility and sustainability. In the last five years published 6 articles in indexed journals, 5 of which in journals classified as Q1 and Q2 in the year of publication. The activities carried out to disseminate research are at national and international scientific events. The activities carried out in terms of research, teaching, extension and university management have enabled me to achieve levels of excellence in the annual performance evaluations carried out by the institution to which I am attached. Dedicated to social causes, particularly with the South Zone Teachers' Union, the Algarve Food Bank Against Hunger and as ambassador for Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Ensure access to inclusive, quality and equitable education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all).
