The Language Center of the University of Algarve (CLUAlg) is dedicated to teaching foreign languages, languages for specific purposes and is also an internationally recognized exam center.

The Language Center (CLUAlg) offers its services to the academic public, the general public and companies, and has a highly qualified teaching staff, made up of native speakers with experience in teaching foreign languages and languages for specific purposes.

Free language courses and other activities operate in three organic units: 

  • School of Management, Hospitality and Tourism, Campus da Penha
  • School of Education and Communication, Campus da Penha
  • Faculty of Human and Social Sciences, Gambelas Campus
