Important Information - Accommodation 2022/23 and 2023/24                                           

Academic year 2022/23: The residences are scheduled to close on 30th May 2023.

The University of Algarve was approved the financing of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR) to carry out recovery works in all the University Halls of Residence of UAlg, in the year 2022/23

Thus, between June and September 2023, we will have to close the University Accommodation, not being possible to keep the students housed, so that the works can be carried out and we can ensure the reopening of the residences at the beginning of the 2023/2024 academic year.

Payment can be made through:

• CTT Postal Order

If you no longer need accommodation in a university residence, we would be grateful if you inform us as soon as possible so that we can immediately pass the place on to another student without assigned accommodation.

If you do not pay the accommodation or send your duly identified proof, your placement in the university residence will be canceled;

We also inform that, as provided for in the regulation of university residences, the admission of residents is formalized by signing an accommodation contract between SASUAlg and the resident, as well as the delivery of proof of enrollment at the University of Algarve in the academic year 2022/2023.

Note: After the payment of the first monthly fee, even in case of withdrawal, the amount paid in the meantime will not be refunded.

The Social Action Services of the University of Algarve annually define the Price List for University Accommodation, in accordance with the Regulation for the Attribution of Social Benefits.
